THE DYNAPAC SD RANGE – PAVING THE WAY IN TECHNOLOGY AND RELIABILITY

Tuesday, November 7, 2017

With demand growing worldwide for technically superior asphalt paving equipment,

Dynapac’s SD series is taking quality, efficiency and ergonomics to new heights.

Featuring unparalleled levels of operator comfort and support, reduced running costs, lower emission levels – plus stable screed design across all widths, the SD1800W and SD1800C offer quick set up, exceptional transport ‘specs’ and expand the versatility of an already battle-hardened Dynapac range.

Defined by class-leading reliability – the SD1800W and SD1800C deliver pioneering standards in technology, toughness and safety.

Long track drives and wide pads on the SD1800C guarantee maximum traction and low maintenance thanks to its sealed/lifetime lubrication, while precise electronic steering and rugged construction ensure superb laying results on even the most challenging of surfaces.

With an operating weights of 10,300kg and 10,500kg respectively, a 4.8 cubic metre hopper and laying capacity of 350t/h, the SD1800C and SD1800W can cover paving widths between 0.7 metres to 4.70m. A raft of equipment options also further enhances its already impressive flexibility.

Both machines feature a slidable, tiltable and height adjustable operator console, optimised noise protection, load sensing hydraulic pumps – plus – the PaveManager 2.0 control system, offering automated paving and memory parameter functions along with crown and slope settings – ensuring improved performance – and taking the series to the next level of engineering excellence.

The patented Dynapac safe-impact push roller system reduces the likelihood of shock to the screed from bumping the truck.

All material flow is controlled by proportional sensors, providing smoothness to both conveyor and auger reactions to avoid segregation.

To place material, the range relies on the new V3500 screed, which features easy, precise adjustments and unequalled stability. All Dynapac “V” series screeds double their width when hydraulically extended.

With 320mm diameter cast flights, 200mm hydraulic height adjustment, auger widths of between 1.71m – 3.15m, proportional sensors/speed control and an external turning circle of just five metres for the wheeled version – the SD1800W and SD1800C are in a class all their own.

The Dynapac SD1800W and SD1800C make a superior addition to any paving fleet.
