AWARD WINNING CIVIL CONSTRUCTION COMPANY CHOOSES DYNAPAC

Wednesday, February 14, 2018

SEE Civil is a multiple award-winning civil construction company based in Chinderah, New South Wales. The company operates Australia-wide and has grown their civil infrastructure, urban development, material processing and plant management capabilities over more than 25 years. SEE Civil has worked with a wide range of clients including Boral, BP, the Department of Transport and Main Roads, Lendlease, Roads and Maritime Services, Stockland, Westfield and various councils.

According to Jon Gibson, General Manager of Fleet and Logistics at SEE Civil, their success can be attributed to their integrated approach to project delivery.

“We’ve grown our fleet and plant management alongside our project delivery experience, which means we’re equipped to best meet the machinery needs of our project teams and ultimately our clients.”

SEE Civil owns and operates its own civil plant and equipment fleet allowing the team to manage all aspects of project delivery.

They recently added to their growing fleet with the purchase of two new Dynapac static rollers.

“We’re always looking to match our equipment fleet to suit the needs of our projects and the industry in areas we operate,” Jon said.

“The flexibility that owning our machines allows, as opposed to hiring, is something that works for us as a business,” Jon said.

“We already have Dynapac rollers in our fleet, and chose to purchase Dynapac products again because of their proven reliability,” Jon said.

The Dynapac CS1400 static roller is a modern, articulated three-drum roller with the same static linear load and drum diameter on all drums.

According to Graeme Reid, Major Accounts Manager Construction Equipment Australia, the Dynapac CS1400 three point static roller will be used for compaction of road base gravels on various subdivision projects.

“The high static linear load due to the weight of the roller of the drum width provides great compaction results where normally we would see a vibratory roller up 19 tonne used,” says Graeme.  “If some cases where there is a high urban presents ground vibration can be an issue, therefore the Dynapac CS1400 three point rollers were the perfect solution.”

He adds, “The machine is suitable for medium-size and large-size applications. It is ideal for use in areas where the ground should not be vibrated, such as in areas close to old buildings and on bridges.”
